Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

What is it?

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) works off the pricnicples of changing your thoughts and actions to better help you live the life you want to live. With CBT the purpose is to challenge your negative thoughts to influence your actions. 

What is it used for?

CBT can be used for many things, but during these sessions it will primarily be used as coping skills. CBT will be used as a way of temproarily challenging and changing your thoughts until the underlying negative experiences that are generating the thoughts can be healed.
